Male Extra Review visit website
Male Extra is an all natural male enhancement pill that was originally launched back in 2009.
Back then it had around 10 different ingredients and also claimed to be a penis enlargement pill thanks to the inclusion of a now discontinued jelqing exercise program.
Fast forward to 2019 and the claims of penis enlargement have disappeared (along with the penile exercise system) and there now a more refined Male Extra formula (now containing just 7 ingredients).
Male Extra pills now claims to:
- Give you bigger, harder erections
- Make your erections last longer
- Improve the intensity of orgasms
- Supercharge your confidence and stamina
Elite Male Extra
Elite Male Extra should not be confused with Male Extra (the product being assessed in this review) – both are very different products.
If you came across our review of Male Extra whilst searching for information on buying Elite Male Extra pills we would strongly suggest avoiding Elite Male Extra as it is a scam product that works on a rebill free trial basis.
There are numerous fake Elite Male Extra reviews on the web and it is clearly a scam product (given the number of customer complaints).
With claims like this we’re no doubt going to see ingredients that increase and improve blood flow, whilst also stimulating our energy levels and working to improve libido levels.
Backing up these claims, the website makes a very specific point of mentioning the fact that Male Extra has more than 150,000 satisfied customers and has sold more than 12 million male enhancement pills in total.
Given the fact there aren’t any testimonials on their website and that the claimed number of satisfied customers has been mentioned on their website for quite some years, I really am a little bit sceptical about those numbers.
Male Extra Pills & Product Bottle
Arriving in a discreet brown cardboard box with no identifying marks or logos, the Male Extra shipping box is as understated as you could possibly get and as discreet as we’ve come to expect from all products of this type.
Over the years the Male Extra product packaging has changed quite considerably – originally it was a large blue box with blister packs, this then changed to a thin blue bottle and in recent years we’ve seen the introduction of a black bottle to give Male Extra and almost adult feel – it definitely feels like it’s more for the “bedroom”.
The latest version does actually stand out as being rather different and unique appearance wise, as the majority of other products of this type are usually white and have a very clinical, clean feel to them.
The front of the product label features the Male Extra logo, the tagline “Bigger, Harder, Longer” as well as a mention to the quantity of pills in the bottle (90) and a splash of red colour drawing your attention to the fact that this version is a new and improved formula.
On the side and reverse of the product label you’ll find a fully transparent breakdown of the Male Extra formulation, confirmation of the serving size (3 pills), at what time of day Male Extra should be taken (with your breakfast or another main meal), and the usual obligatory list of warnings.
With the cap of the bottle removed there’s a paper seal to break through – proof that you’re getting a brand new bottle of Male Extra and the contents haven’t been tampered with.
The Male Extra pills themselves are light blue in colour and have a smooth, almost plastic texture to them that means they are completely taste and odour free. Break a pill in half and it’s a light brown powder with a few flecks of white.
At just under 2cms in length (around 3/4s of an inch) they aren’t as small as Max Performer pills but they still remain rather easy to swallow and consume remembering of course that at 90 pills per bottle, you’ll be needing to swallow 3 pills per serving.
Male Extra Product Photos
It doesn’t get more amateur than this. We physically obtain all the products we test and review – we don’t simply make up fake reviews based on generic, commonly available information (like so many other sites).
Male Extra Ingredients & Side Effects
Containing 7 ingredients, Male Extra has refined its ingredients over the years whilst keeping its signature ingredient – Pomegranate extract – included throughout. I’ve yet to see this ingredient in any of the other products I’ve reviewed.
The other 6 parts to the Male Extra blend i’ve seen in varying quantities within other male enhancement pills.
The one big missing ingredient that I’d really have liked to have seen in Male Extra (and is currently lacking) is Bioperine – a rather expensive ingredient made from the extract of black pepper that vastly improves and enhances absorption rates.
As with all products of this type although they do claim to be completely natural and totally side-effect free, there is still a chance that the ingredients in this formulation could cause side effects.
Even something as simple and small as the colouring used in the gel capsules could potentially irritate the stomach or if you’re allergic to something specific, cause a reaction.
Notably the small print on the bottle does mention vegetable capsules however seemingly there is no mention of how they get their sky blue colour (its got to be a colouring of some sort that isn’t seemingly mentioned on the label).
Obviously if you’re on any existing medications, or start seeing side effects once you start taking taking Male Extra pills, you should always discontinue use or in the first instance talk to your doctor or medical professional before you start taking this male enhancement supplement.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
The Male Extra capsule supplement claims to be an all-natural male enhancement supplement. My review of the product is carried out using external, independent literature to evaluate the claims.
The manufacturer directs the user to take three capsules of the product daily with breakfast or any other main meal. The capsule formulation offers several advantages over the other popular form – a tablet.
The capsule coating protects the sensitive beneficial ingredients within and facilitates easier consumption as it is odorless and tasteless.
Capsules, in general, are easier to swallow and release their contents rapidly. The capsule coating can also reduce gastrointestinal irritation which can be a cause of concern for several users.Read more
Top of the ingredients list in terms of quantity (600mg), L-Arginine Hydrochloride (or HCI as it’s often shortened) is well known for its ability to produce nitric oxide by converting amino acids.
It does create free radicals which we don’t particularly like but on the flipside L-Arginine HCI allows your blood vessels to open wider and as a result help transport blood around your body – the knock on effect is thicker, harder and stronger erections which are a key sales point of Male Extra pills.
If you suffer from erectile dysfunction, or perhaps just have a little bit of anxiety or struggle in achieving an erection, the inclusion of L-Arginine should make quite a difference.
For those that don’t suffer from any degree of impotence, the inclusion of this ingredient simply means you’ll experience even better, stronger and likely longer erections.
Given the rather high dosage of 600mg you may see some potential side-effects starting to kick in especially if you take Male Extra for the long-term.
If you start experiencing bloating, abdominal pain, low blood pressure or diarrhoea (or in fact you start getting other symptoms that are persistent or unusual for you), you should always stop taking Male Extra and consult a medical professional or your doctor.
Due to the fact that L-Arginine increases blood flow, you might also start experiencing lightheadedness and dizziness – if you’re on medications (such as blood thinners or blood clotting agents) I’d definitely recommend discussing Male Extra with a medical expert before you start taking it as it could interact rather badly with some prescription medications.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
At 600mg per capsule L-arginine hydrochloride is the most abundant ingredient in this product. This is an amino acid which gets converted in the body into a chemical called nitric oxide.
Nitric oxide causes blood vessels to open wider for improved blood flow and is essential for achieving an erection. It is therefore believed to have the potential to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and is among the most popular ingredients in male sexual enhancement supplements.
Doses reported for oral administration to improve male sexual function are significantly higher than that supplied by consuming 3 pills of this product. However, there is some early evidence that taking low doses of L-arginine, with other proven ingredients, might improve its effectiveness.
L-arginine is possibly safe for most people for short-term oral administration. It can cause some side effects such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhoea, gout, allergies, worsening of asthma, and low blood pressure.
Caution should be exercised while using arginine containing supplements along with anti-hypertensive medication, nitrates and sildenafil (Viagra).Read more
Pomegranate 20:1 Extract (40% Ellagic Acid)
The next big key ingredient in Male Extra is a powerhouse of an antioxidant which further helps to boost blood circulation.
Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is, in this form taken from the seeds of the Pomegranate fruit, creating a powerful and focused 20:1 extract (500mg in total) which has a lot of the undesired elements of the plant removed (hence making it purer).
Interestingly pomegranate also contains a number of specific elements that our bodies need in order to function properly, these include vitamin C, sodium, calcium, niacin, riboflavin and thiamin some of which have been specifically included in other male enhancement supplements to give you an added boost.
As well as increasing your blood flow this anti-inflammatory is great for maintaining healthy skin and holding back the aging process.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
The second most abundant ingredient in the Male Extra capsules is pomegranate extract (500 mg). Pomegranate juice has been shown to benefit individuals suffering from a wide array of illnesses including infertility in men.
In rodent studies, pomegranate juice was particularly beneficial for ED and has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.
Some studies also report a boost in sperm counts in rodents. It also boosts cardiovascular health which is essential in maintaining a healthy sexual drive. Male Extra claims the presence of pomegranate extract standardized to achieve 40% ellagic acid concentration.
Ellagic acid is a naturally occurring polyphenol present in pomegranates. It is only one of the many polyphenols, vitamins, minerals, and other phytonutrients present in the fruit that might be collectively exerting the beneficial effects listed earlier. These other phytonutrients might not be present in sufficient amounts in Male Extra to prove useful.
Most people do not exhibit any side effects when pomegranate extract is consumed orally. Pomegranate extract could show moderate interaction with anti-hypertensive drugs and cholesterol-lowering statins.Read more
MSN (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane)
Just like Pomegranate, MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is a powerful anti-inflammatory and has been found to aid symptoms of arthritis, muscle recovery and joint pain making it a popular choice amongst men who focus on fitness or bodybuilding.
Thanks to its antioxidant properties, MSN is also exceptionally good for improving the health and strength of your nails, hair and skin – it is with this view that Male Extra has included this ingredient in their formulation as it will help to maintain and grow healthy new cells throughout your body but also specifically in the penis.
This ultimately means that you should see better penile health and, thanks to the improved circulation from the other ingredients, a stronger and more effective ability for your penis to adapt to the increase in blood flow resulting in stronger thicker, more engorged erections.
At 100mg, there is a rather small amount of MSN (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) in your daily serving of Male Extra so your unlikely to experience common side effects such as headaches, lacking concentration, nausea and fatigue.
For obvious reasons (and this doesn’t just apply to Male Extra but literally any male enhancement pill or supplement), if you start experiencing strange or unusual side effects or symptoms that you normally don’t have, you should always discontinue use and consult a medical professional.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) and L-methionine are each present at 100 mg in every capsule of Male Extra. MSM has become a popular dietary supplement.
It is a naturally occurring organosulfur compound utilized as a complementary and alternative medicine. Supplementation with MSM can improve several health outcomes such as inflammation, joint/muscle pain, oxidative stress, and antioxidant capacity.
As a Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) approved substance, MSM is well-tolerated by most individuals at dosages of up to four grams daily, with few known and mild side effects. In fact, very small amounts of MSM are routinely consumed by us via our diet.
There is no specific information available with respect to the interactions of MSM with other medications. There is no clinical or experimental evidence that directly demonstrates the benefits of MSM for penile enhancement.
It has been included in this product for its ability to address sulphur deficiencies which might affect male sexual health.Read more
L-Methionine is an amino acid and although we know it can help to produce proteins in our body (similar to L-Lysine and Pantothenic Acid) there’s no conclusive research or studies that really highlight its benefits for general health, let alone the health and function of your penis.
Methionine is very much one of those elements in our bodies that we need, but we need it at a correct and balanced amount – too little or too much, and this amino acid can have more of a negative rather than positive effect on our bodies.
It’s even been suggested that having a less of it in the body could potentially result in improved lifespans.
On the flip side though, having good Methionine levels can help your body detox, improve the health of your digestive tract, boost your immune system and improve raise your fertility levels (although if that is your focus you probably want to consider a product more like Semenax or VolumePills).
Male Extra’s reasoning for including L-Methionine is based on their view that it helps to block histamines (a form of neurotransmitters that sends signals to the brain) in the body.
It’s thought that the higher your levels of histamines, the faster you’re likely to ejaculate hence why histamines have been specifically linked in some research and studies to premature ejaculation. As such there is seemingly no conclusive evidence to support this.
Despite the potential advantages of increasing your bodies level of L-Methionine, I’m still a little uncertain as to why Male Extra have opted to include this specific ingredient.
The 100mg of L-Methionine could have perhaps been replaced with something else that has perhaps been studied and researched in more detail and is shown to specifically bring a benefit to men’s sexual health.
It’s also worth noting that although Methionine hasn’t got any specific side effects associated with it (at least not yet based on the limited amount of research), it can decrease your B12, B6 and folic acid levels so if you already have a deficiency this could further exacerbate your symptoms.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
L-methionine is a naturally occurring essential amino acid and is safe when consumed orally in small amounts as it is a common component of food. However, in some people, excess methionine may cause headache, heartburn, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, or drowsiness.
The dose in Male Extra is very small to warrant caution. Reported medicinal uses of L-methionine do not cover male enhancement but it continues to be an important component in several such products.
Male Extra claims the inclusion of this amino acids delays ejaculation. However, there is no clinical evidence to support this claim. A metabolite formed from L-methionine is routinely used to cure depression and has been shown to have positive effects on ED and male arousal. Thus, the L- methionine in Male Extra might indirectly prove beneficial for users suffering from performance anxiety issues.Read more
Zinc (as Citrate)
You can’t really go wrong with Zinc, and it’s a popular choice included in the likes of Max Performer and Semenax – it’s one of those staple ingredients that we see all too frequently in male enhancement pills thanks to its known benefits on the quality of sperm production.
The Zinc benefits for men lie in it’s rather critical role in regulating and producing testosterone. If your testosterone levels are too low your libido and sexual drive will suffer and on a more physical level, the motility and strength of semen can be impacted resulting in reduced fertility levels.
Zinc is notably very important to the health and function of our bones, kidney, muscles and liver however for men it also helps to maintain a healthy prostate gland. The prostate gland is what produces and releases some of the fluid that is found in semen.
It may only be the size of a walnut, but without good Zinc levels our testosterone levels suffer; in fact a study showed that by limiting Zinc in the diets of young men, their testosterone levels significantly decreased.
At the other end of the spectrum, by increasing Zinc levels in elderly men (over the course of 6 months), saw a marked improvement in testosterone levels which also had the knock on effect of helping reduce or resolve symptoms of erectile dysfunction.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
Another ingredient in Male Extra is 10 mg zinc per capsule. It is the second most abundant trace element in humans and plays a vital role in a number of physiological processes.
Studies have established a clear relationship between zinc and testosterone levels. Zinc deficiency can lead to a decrease in testosterone levels and reduced sexual performance. Rodent diet supplemented with 5 mg per day zinc has been shown to greatly improve sexual function.
Inclusion of zinc in this product can have multi-fold benefits for the user such as improved sperm quality, address symptoms of ED, and impart antioxidant activity.
Up to 40mg zinc taken daily by mouth is completely safe. So the recommended Male Extra dose should not be responsible for any side effects. There are no drug interactions described for zinc in the literature.Read more
Cordyceps Mushroom Powder
We’ve seen Cordyceps included in other male enhancement pills – it’s that scary fungus that takes over the minds and bodies of small insects and encapsulates them in fungus however despite this Cordyceps have been used for centuries in Chinese medicine.
Thankfully technology has moved on and given the high demand chances are the Cordyseps in this and other products are more than likely mass produced in laboratories!
Although it is included in a rather tiny quantity in Male Extra (25mg compared to a whopping 1000mg in the hugely popular and effective Max Performer), it is still a very powerful ingredient to have in the formulation.
There are notably more than 400 different variants of Cordyceps although the two that have specifically been used in modern medicine are that of Cordyceps sinensis and Cordyceps militaris (although no mention is made on the ingredients as to which species has been used in Male Extra).
Cordyceps is generally used for one of two reasons – the treatment of kidney disorders or the resolution of male sexual health problems.
In the case of the latter, Cordyceps is a power antioxidant however in the male body it increases the strength of another antioxidant – Super Oxide Dismutase (or SOD as it’s abbreviated) which helps fight preamature aging.
Beyond that however, Cordyceps thins the blood improving circulation whilst also aiding the release of testosterone. In men this leads to more stamina, an increase in virility and most importantly the ability to improve erectile function (leading to stronger, harder erections).
Needless to say, if you’re on any existing medications that relate to clotting of the blood, you’ll most definitely want to consult your doctor or a medical expert before taking Male Extra or any other product containing Cordyceps as an ingredient.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
Male Extra also contains cordyceps mushroom powder (25 mg per capsule). It is a traditional Chinese medicinal fungus used to treat a variety of ailments and promote longevity. It is known to have antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.
Daily use of specific cordyceps products has been shown to improve sex drive. Animal experiments show that Cordyceps mushroom powder can increase sperm count. Clinical data with Cordyceps administration also shows an improved sperm count and sperm survival rate as well as a decrease in sperm malformation in human males.
Cordyceps is safe for most people when taken orally, short-term. It might cause mild side effects such as diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal discomfort. It can increase the risk of bleeding during surgery and consumption of products containing Cordyceps should be stopped 2 weeks prior to surgery.
Oral consumption of Cordyceps might cause activation of the immune system and should be avoided by users with autoimmune disorders. Cordyceps products should be used with caution while taking immunosuppressants and prednisolone. There is no indication of a clear optimal dose for Cordyceps in the literature.Read more
Vitamins B3 (Nicotinamide)
Vitamin B3 naturally occurs in MSN (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) one of the other key ingredients in Male Extra whilst this 19mg dose gives you an added boost.
Nicotinamide is one of two types of Vitamin B3; each have their own uses, benefits and possible side effects whilst the primarily role of Nicotinamide (also known as Niacin) is to give you energy and help the cells in your body to undertake specific chemical reactions.
From a men’s sexual health point of view, improving the levels of Vitamin B3 helps to combat high cholesterol levels which, when lowered results in improved blood flow around the body.
Given that we need good blood circulation especially to the penis when we want to gain an erection, it’s no surprise that various medical studies have highlighted the positive impact that good or improved Vitamin B3 levels have on those that suffer from erectile dysfunction and is clearly part of the reason for Male Extra’s claim of bigger, harder erections.
You can take up to 35 mg per day of Niacin (so the 19mg in Male Extra is well within the required limits) whilst side effects wise there has been some indication that it kind cause headaches, an upset stomach and nausea.
Dr Shalaka Samant Says…
The last component in this product is vitamin B3. It is present in every capsule of Male Extra at 118% of its recommended daily dose. This nutrient helps the body convert food into glucose, used to produce energy.
Vitamin B3 is naturally found in foods such as fish, chicken, and grains. It is the preferred support for osteoarthritis and type 1 diabetes. There is also evidence that this vitamin may preserve and enhance neurocognitive functions.
Studies show that vitamin B3 improves erectile function in men. These studies used a dose of 1,500 mg of B3 taken daily. This dose is much higher than that found in Male Extra. A very minor side effect of excess B3 is flushing. However, since it is a highly water soluble vitamin, excess amounts readily get excreted via urine.
Caution should be exercised while consuming vitamin B3 products over a long term when the user is on antidiabetic medication. A survey of other male enhancement pills shows that along with B3 and zinc, they also have other forms of vitamin B (such as B6 and B12) which provide added benefits of addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression and decreased libido.
Some other products also have certain natural ingredients such as Ginseng root or Maca root extract. Traditional medicinal practices attribute the ability to treat sexual dysfunction and improve sex drive to these root extracts. Although the incorporation of plant extracts is not completely backed by clinical evidence, inclusion of a wider spectrum of B vitamins in Male Extra could prove useful.Read more
Male Extra Money Back Guarantee
Like so many products of this type on the market, Male Extra gives you plenty of time to try their pills out – the money back guarantee offered is for 60 days plus an additional 7 days to give you a chance to ship your order back.
Knowing that you’ve got a means of getting your money back if this penis enhancement pill doesn’t work for you, does therefore provide you with added peace of mind and the confidence to place your order.
If you do want to take advantage of the money back guarantee you will get a full refund on the price you paid for the original purchase – don’t forget you’ll also have to pay for return shipping and I’d highly suggest using a courier with tracking so you have proof that your return has successfully been received.
I ended up digging a little bit deeper into their terms and conditions as when a 60 day guarantee is usually offered, the 1 month supplies are usually excluded.
Having spoken to their customer support team (via their websites Live Chat feature), they confirmed that the 67 day guarantee does indeed also apply to the smaller 1 month supply.
Their customer support team did specifically highlight that they recommend using the product for at least 2 months due to results varying person-to-person – some people seeing results within 60 days whilst others get results in 30 days or less.
Regardless of which package you choose (whether it’s the 1 month, 4 month or 6 month supplies), you’ll get the 67 day money back guarantee period to try the product and, as long as you return all the used and unopened bottles of Male Extra, there’s really no reason why you won’t get a full refund.
How Much Does Male Extra Cost?
With free shipping on all international orders there are no hidden costs or fees that should be incurred whilst their warehouses in the US and UK means that all Male Extra customers from America, Australia, Canada and all countries in Europe shouldn’t experience any additional import fees or taxes.
If you live outside of these tier 1 countries, there is a chance that some additional fees may be charged by local customs enforcement when your order reaches the destination country.
Also bear in mind that stricter countries may potentially have specific ingredients or male enhancement specific products on a ban list and hence your Male Extra order could potentially get returned to sender.
You can see the pricing and a variety of other information in the pricing table below.
|wdt_ID||Male Extra||1 Mth||4 Mths||6 Mths|
|3||Pills Per Bottle||60||60||60|
|5||Pills Per Serving||2||2||2|
|6||Price Per Month||$64.95||$49.49||$41.65|
|7||Price Per Pill||$1.08||$0.82||$0.69|
|8||Price Per Serving||$2.17||$1.65||$1.39|
It is worth remembering that unlike Max Performer, both the 4 and 6-month supplies of Male Extra include one or two bottles of erection gel – a nice little bonus for choosing the larger package sizes.
Does Male Extra Work? My Verdict!
Male Extra contains a rather focused, small selection of ingredients and although many of them have merit and have been shown to be beneficial for men’s sexual health, there are others (such as L-Methionine) that have very little evidence and research behind them to say definitively whether they do truly provide any real value or benefit.
Many of the ingredients are very much focused on improving blood flow with the aim of meeting the claim of bigger, harder erections however there are little boosts to improve libido and energy levels whilst you may even see an improvement in fertility levels (however not to the extent that you’re likely to see from a semen enhancer such as Semenax).
In terms of results there was definitely some changes as a result of taking Male Extra; an improvement in my libido in the early stages resulting in an increased sexual drive to the point of waking up in the morning in a state of arousal.
That said i didn’t feel any more energetic than usual (although having a bit of a cold when taking Male Extra probably didn’t help my overall energy levels), whilst improving stamina really comes down to your personal physical well being – i suppose there was (perhaps) a marginal boost.
With longer, more consistent consumption of Male Extra pills beyond the single months supply there was a gradual increase in the rate of arousal, erection strength and “plumpness” and although not taken for the long term (i took it for a little over a month), there is definitely potential for better blood flow and more engorged erections the longer you take it.
I do feel the size related claims on the website are somewhat misleading though – see my thoughts on that below!
What was rather apparent despite a generally good selection of ingredients at good dosage levels was the speed of results, the lack of Bioperine was very evident and i definitely saw much faster, earlier results when taking both Max Performer and VigRX Plus.
Based on my personal experience, Male Extra did just lag behind in terms of speed of effectiveness – i definitely think for practically the same price, Max Performer offers faster results and better overall value for money.
Male Extra Reviews
I’ve seen mixed results with Male Extra and personally feel there are better priced male enhancement pills on the market that offer more in terms of ingredients and results.
But what do you think? If you’ve tried Male Extra – whether you’ve had a good or bad experience – we’d love to hear how you got on.
Simply give us your own unbiased review of Male Extra and share your experience with the Penis Enlargement Resource community.
Should I Buy Male Extra?
Maybe. It’s really good to see that Male Extra has over the years improved their packaging, website and importantly their ingredients list and claims.
The ingredients have been refined, and the claims of what Male Extra can do for you have been toned down to focus more specifically on attaining harder erections that last longer whilst also giving you an enhanced libido with more stamina.
Personally I do find a specific section of their website rather misleading – the section talks specifically about results using Male Extra and seemingly illustrates that without any need for physical intervention (such as the use of a penis pump, penis extender or simple jelqing exercises), by taking Male Extra for 6 months, you can increase the length of your penis by up to 2.6 inches.
It’s a little far fetched!
Do I think that Male Extra can make your penis thicker and give you stronger erections? Yes but only for the short term on a temporary basis.
Could a temporary level of growth produce a visual improvement of 2.6 inches? No, and in no way would this translate into permanent gains. If you did jeqling exercises or some physical means of stretching, then it’s absolutely possible!
I think that Male Extra is a really good product – it’s competitively priced especially when you factor in the additional bonuses on the larger package sizes.
That said however, as I mentioned right at the beginning of my review the lack of Bioperine means the effectiveness of Male Extra is always going to under perform – it could be so much more effective and faster acting with the inclusion of this small (but expensive) additional ingredient.
For me, Male Extra simply can’t beat the main competition – Max Performer – so if i was getting my wallet out and about to part with my cash, i’d be having a good long think about whether or not Male Extra really is the best value for money but more importantly the best product for getting the result you’re looking for.
Put simply, Max Performer has the edge thanks to vastly improved absorption rates (thanks to Bioperine) and a slightly better, wider array of ingredients in my view but that’s not to say that Male Extra couldn’t still give you really good results over the long term.
