Viasil has made a refeash of their male enhancement pill more recently, seeing them increase the number of pills to 30 per pack, with the view of taking this penis enhancer routinely (rather than as needed), every day of the week.

Viasil is a male enhancement pill made from all natural ingredients and claiming fast results with zero side effects. It’s core ingredient is a trademarked formula called Actiful which has been clinically proven to improve blood flow and energy levels.
Viasil claims to:
- Improve short and long term energy levels
- Increases vitality and endurance
- Increase blood flow (leading to thicker, stronger erections)
- Boost mitochondrial action (the process of turning nutrients into energy)
- Reduce symptoms of erectile dysfunction (primarily caused by anxiety)
Viasil was originally rather unique in the fact that it was a pill that you would take around 30 minutes before sexual activity – part of the reason you only got 10 pills which made the price per serving really rather expensive.
Viasil have since revised their approach, increased the number of pills to 30 – 1 pill to be taken routinely each day – whilst the ingredients and quantities essentially remain exactly the same per pill.
The fact that you now take Viasil daily regardless of sexual activity, whilst also offering an erection gel on all but the 1 month supply, means the price per serving has dropped and ultimately you should see considerably better results from this male potency formula to help you ward off erectile dysfunction and performance issues.
Pills & Packaging
My initial delivery of Viasil came in a padded jiffy bag with no mention of its content – very discreet.
The white and blue box (which feels very clinical and medical) had taken quite a considerably bashing in transit and was really rather dented and crushed.
Given i was planning on doing some product photos and a video review, Viasil sent me out a complimentary extra box which arrived in a much better state. Given Viasil only give you 10 pills per box, that’s likely the reason they’ve opted for a single blister pack as opposed to a larger bottle of pills.
On the front of the box there is reference to the logo, company behind Viasil (Swiss Research Labs, Wolfson Berg Ltd which have offices in both the UK and Germany), three very specific product claims (100% natural, fast results and no side effects) and a reference to the per pill milligram dosage (850mg).
Flip the box over and you’ll find very brief directions for use/consumption, some warnings as well as the full supplement facts with ingredients broken down and detailed.
Notably due to being all natural as well as suitable for vegans and vegetarians, this sort of product doesn’t require any evaluation or assessment by the FDA.
These sort of natural supplements are deemed considerably weaker than prescription medications and are generally unregulated.
Open the box up and you’ll find a single blister pack containing 10 absolutely massive blue pills. I think of all the penis enhancement pills i’ve ever seen, Viasil has got to be the biggest!
It truly is massive packing in a whopping 850mg of ingredients.
Take note Viasil, this is seriously difficult to swallow, so unless you break the Viasil pill in half, it’d be really good to see 20 smaller 425mg pills in future versions.
Taking 2 smaller pills is so much easier than 1 huge, choke worthy version.
The Viasil pills are bright blue and don’t have any discernible smell or taste when consumed.

There are numerous product reviews of Viasil popping up all over web, but have you noticed how barely any of them actually have amateur photos or videos? It’s almost as though the people reviewing them have never actually purchased, seen or used the product.
In fact, having a scan through the other so called real reviews of Viasil and you’ll spot that the same set of 4-5 photos keep getting used.
If you’ve read any of my other product reviews, you’ll know that every product that is listed and reviewed on Penis Enlargement Resource has physically reached my desk – and the photos i take are testament to that!
Ingredients & Side Effects
A quick scan through the rather small and select group of ingredients reveals there is very much a focus on increasing blood flow and overall circulation as Viasil tries to pitch itself as fast acting natural male performance enhancer.
Below you’ll find a breakdown of each individual ingredient highlighting the positive effects such an extract can have on your body and (importantly) your penis.
I’ve also included a brief mention where relevant of any potential side effects for each ingredient just to put things into perspective.
Despite being coined an all natural and completely side effect free supplement, some of the ingredients do have the potential to cause side effects.
There is also the potential for these ingredients to directly impact the effectiveness of other medications you may already be taking, so it is worth being wary that although side effects are unlikely, they are still possible.
It’s worth remember that one big positive from taking Viasil simply when you need it, means that any side effects will generally only last for a few hours after the ingredients are consumed. Compare that to male enhancement pills that you have to take daily and could give you negative side effects 24/7 and this is a big potential advantage.

Of the 6 core ingredients in Viasil (the majority of which we’ve seen in varying quantities in other male enhancement pills) the ingredient that is unique and really stands out is Actiful – a scientifically engineered yet all natural citrus and pomegranate “complex”.
The citrus element increases energy and blood flow, whilst the pomegranate increases nitric oxide which in turn again aids improved blood flow leading to heightened arousal levels.
This seems great on face value but when you delve into the specifics of the placebo-controlled trial, the results are of the clinical study carried out by Actiful are based on longer, more consistent consumption and a rather high age group (60-75 years) with findings based on walking and senior fitness tests – hardly arousing test metrics for what we’re looking for!
It’s also worth noting that the clinical trial of Actiful only consisted of 37 participants (both male and female). Half of the participants would have received the placebo. The other half received Actiful which consisted of 500mg orange extract and 200mg pomegranate actives.
Ultimately Actiful found in their tests that you would need a daily intake of 700mg of Actiful (the amount notably contained in each Viasil tablet) over the course of 6 weeks to achieve improved flexibility of arteries and (as a result) better blood flow.
In terms of energy, Actiful found that taking 700mg of Actiful daily over the course of 4 weeks resulted in energy levels being massively increased when compared against a placebo.
They found that within the first minute of taking Actiful you get a big kick of energy, and although that energy hit drops again initially, over the course of 10 minutes energy levels were still notably higher than the competing placebo.
I think the key takeaway here is that Actiful is a great ingredient however realistically, if you want to see the best results, you really need to take Viasil daily over the course of 4-6 weeks to really see the biggest improvement in fast arousal levels.
It sounds like Actiful would be great for older men suffering from erectile dysfunction however the verdict is still out as to whether younger consumers who take Viasil occasionally rather than consistently will see a big enough boost in arousal (especially within the suggested 30 minute timeframe).
With that in mind, to get the best results i am left wondering if products like VigRX Plus, Max Performer or Male Extra wouldn’t simply be a better, cheaper, long term solution which can be taken daily and build up in your system rather than simply being taken as and when which does seem to indicate could hinder the true potential of Actiful’s potential and benefits.
In recent years it’s been identified that low levels of zinc cause a number of different health related problems, one of the most notable (and relevant) being erectile dysfunction.
Zinc deficiency was shown in a 1996 study to have a clear relationship with low testosterone levels which in turn impacts a man’s ability to get aroused.
By increasing zinc levels you can essentially double your testosterone levels to overcome the symptoms of erectile dysfunction however improving the body’s natural levels of testosterone will only occur through the consumption of zinc if you have a specific deficiency.
Notably Viasil contains Zinc Picolinate at a meagre 1.5mg compared to the daily recommended dose of 11mg daily however Zinc Picolinate is more easily absorbed by the human body and hence reaches your bloodstream more effectively and efficiently hence the likely reason for the lower dosage.
Horny Goat Weed, known by a variety of names (including Epimedium and Yin-Yang-Ho), is a Chinese medicine that uses the leaves of the plant to not just improve sexual health, but also treat bone and kidney diseases.
It helps improve libdo, raise testosterone levels, treats erectile dysfunction and boost circulation as well as helping your body to increase lean muscle mass.
Amusing the the name Horny Goat Weed apparently came from farmers noticing that sheep and goats that ate the leaves of a specific plant became rather excited around the opposite sex, hence resulting in this extract being used in a number of other male enhancement pills on the market and the plant in question getting the name Horny Goat Weed.
The most popular of 25 species in the Tribulus pool of what is essentially a common weed, Tribulus Terrestris has been shown to enhance sexual function and libido, reduce cholesterol levels, lower heart rate and blood pressure however its worth noting that although it can increase fertility in men, there is no proof to show or suggest that it improves testosterone levels.
The 100mg extract (10:1) is essentially a freeze dried version of the original plant allowing Viasil to offer the equivalent of consuming 1000mg of the herb in its original form.
Side effects are usually mild (if notable at all) however can cause stomach pain, nausea and a rather broad range of standard side effects however in very rare cases has been linked to reports of kidney damage.
Needless to say if you start experiencing any ill effects of Viasil or any other male enhancement supplement, you should always discontinue consumption.
Made from the root of the plant, Panax Ginseng grows in China and is known for its medicinal ability to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
Beyond this however in terms of sexual health benefits, it boosts energy and has been shown in a few studies to improve the sexual function of men suffering from erectile dysfunction.
Most notably a 2002 Korean study which tested Ginseng on a group of men found in 60% of the test group, an improvement in symptoms were noted.
A more recent 2008 study however found that studies (for similar variant Red Ginseng), simply weren’t large enough or accurate enough to determine whether Ginseng can suitable affect those suffering from erectile dysfunction.
For short term usage (Viasil contains 20mg which is the equivalent to 400mg of whole herb which is the recommended daily dosage) you shouldn’t experience any side effects however with long term usage you could potentially start suffering from insomnia, headaches and vertigo which are common side effects of Panax Ginseng.
Made from the leaves of the Ginkgo tree which has green, distinct, fan shaped leaves, Ginkgo Biloba is thought to be one of the oldest living trees (dating back more than 200 million years).
Its benefits stem from its powerful antioxidant properties whilst fighting inflammation and improving the function of your heart and blood circulation.
There are limited sources that suggest that Ginkgo Biloba can treat sexual dysfunction – this stems from its ability to improve the levels of nitric oxide in your blood which helps to improve circulation – however there are no conclusive studies and results indicate its effectiveness for such conditions (caused specifically by antidepressant drugs) are no better than placebos.
The suggested daily dosage of Ginkgo Biloba is 120-240mg split across several doses throughout the day – Viasil notably contains 4.8mg as a 50:1 extract which equates to 240mg of whole herb whilst as it’s an “as you need it” supplement, you can’t really split the dosage or pill and you have to take it all in one go.
Very much like Tribulus Terrestris, side effects can include nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, and headaches however as you’re not going to be consuming this supplement daily, simply when you plan on undertake sexual activity it’s very unlikely you’ll experience any of these side effects (although obviously if you do, I’d simply suggest discontinuing usage).
Money Back Guarantee
Given the price of Viasil, it’s not the cheapest of products however to alleviate the fear of Viasil not working or being as effective as you’d hope, they’ve taken the bold step (as you’re generally see from any male enhancement pill) of offering a lengthy 60 day money back guarantee.
On closer inspection of the refund policy page, the wording seems to indicate that that the money back guarantee is potentially only applicable on larger order values (as it mentions returning unused boxes).
On contacting their live chat customer support (notably they make no reference to their 60 day guarantee on their terms and conditions page), they confirmed that the money back guarantee does indeed also include and cover a one box, 10 tablet supply.
Put simply you can buy any of the 3 available packages (10, 30 or 50 tablets) and as long as you return the empty and any unopened boxes within 67 days (60 days to test it out, 7 days to ship it back), Viasil will give you a full refund excluding the cost of the return shipping.
Just make sure you don’t throw any of the empty boxes away as these need returning in order to qualify for the refund.
Viasil is not cheap – they offer 3 packages comprising 10, 30 and 50 tablets.
The larger the order size, the bigger the saving so unless your rather cash strapped, i’d highly recommend buying the 50 tablet supply given the 60 day money back guarantee (as discussed above).

Having done a full analysis of the 6 ingredients in Viasil it’s quite easy to identify the fact that the majority of ingredients have been selected based on their ability to improve blood flow and circulation whilst on a secondary level giving an energy boost and increasing libdo and confidence (by reducing anxiety).
If Viasil was a male enhancement pill that you took daily, on a routine basis I can see how the level of ingredients could build up and deliver sustained long term results however at this stage is difficult to determine if the combined quantities of ingredients can indeed produce an increase in blood flow leading to heightened arousal levels within the suggested 30 minutes prior to sexual activity.
The inclusion of Actiful is where Viasil is clearly basing it’s timescales given it gives a big energy boost within the first 1-2 minutes of consumption.
Not only should Viasil give you thicker, stronger erections (especially if you’re taking it quite regularly over the long term), you’ll see a big spike in energy and you should also start experiencing a higher sex drive (libido).
Personally i think Viasil has a lot of merits based on its combined and (in the case of Actiful) rather unique set of ingredients. I think the biggest benefit of this product will be seen from those in the older age groups (anywhere from 40+) or from those that suffer from anxiety based erectile dysfunction.
Viasil has a good list of ingredients, including Actiful and although its formulation is effective, at only 850mg per serving the overall dosage of this male enhancement pill is rather small compared to those offering 2 or 3 pills per serving. The inclusion of Actiful (although notably no Bioperine) does make Viasil rather unique however it is rather expensive compared to other male enhancement supplements in this market space.
